It has been terribly long since I have last posted here. Don't fear. I haven't stopped documenting the world through photographs, but I have slowed my interest in digital photography.

For those who might ask why? I am no longer excited about seeing the photos right away on the back of the camera. Nor am I excited about the prospect of migrating my images from one storage media to another every six months. Finally, I am tired of the high costs of getting an image enlarged past 13x19.

So with all that I have gone back to film. And no, it is not all gravy. Some of the things I miss about digital. 1. No White Balance. Shooting film, it is more difficult to take into account unnatural lighting conditions without having a bag full of filters. 2. Digital will give you the ability to change ISO speeds at the drop of a dime. Film users will just have to push/pull the film they have in the bag.

Once again I have started a blog of endless rambling. Perhaps someone will do a search on google one day and come across this post. Here are a couple keywords for you. Todays equipment. Canon EOS 3 with PB-2. No longer shooting with Canon EOS D30 or Canon EOS D60. I have sold each one of my Canon D2000's and my Kodak DCS 520. I have one Canon point and shoot camera for humor purposes only. I am looking to purchase a Canon EOS 1vhs.
